BREWCO’S ANNUAL FFL AWARDS PARTY

While cash payouts will not be delayed, this get-together probably will be.
Originally slated for Pro Bowl weekend / 5 pm – Saturday, January 30, 2021… cash pay-outs will still be awarded that day. So unless you want to roll some or all of a Jackson Award(s) and/or a portion of a 1st-3rd place cash award toward the 2021 season, you will have the option to receive some or all of the disbursement that you’re due, on January 30, 2021… or even in advance OF that date.

Aside from that, if we can’t hold our party on THAT day, we’ll still look to do it when it’s once again safe for us all to be in the same place together again. Assuming that was ever a good idea to begin with.

At that time we’ll square away the following:

  • A Formal Recognition of the Champs of the 2020
  • Recognize the Runners-Up
  • Salute the Jackson Award Winners
  • Play Our NFL/Beer Trivia Game to Trigger the Release of that $300 Cash Award
  • Conduct a Blind Draw of the Names for the 2021 Divisional Split for Both Leagues

TIE-BREAKER BREAKDOWN

Here are the tie-breaking factors that govern playoff entry for wild card teams, in descending order.

  1. Head-to-head; ie: Best won-lost-tied percentage in games between the clubs
  2. Best won-lost-tied percentage in common games
  3. Highest Points Forced total
  4. Best won-lost-tied percentage in games played outside of the conference
  5. Most Jackson Awards
  6. Coin toss

And one quick Playoff reminder, six teams make the playoffs with the top two teams getting a first-round bye in Week 14.

NEW RULE PROPOSALS

Since we didn’t make use of the rules that were due to begin this year, we’ll hold off on requests for changes for the upcoming year. At that time, we’ll introduce the rules that we would’ve used in 2020 once the 2021 season is set to begin.

CONSOLATION BRACKET

While this hasn’t been the year that any of those who won’t make the playoffs envisioned, let’s look to keep this distraction in play for three more weeks!!! While we’ll need all six teams onboard to keep this competition going, I’m proposing that you all consider signing off on the following offer toward post-season play.
SIX TEAMS / $40 BUY-IN: Payouts to the top two teams:
  • 1st Place: $160.00 / quadrupling their buy-in
  • 2nd Place: $80.00 / doubling their buy-in
