PACIFIC BEACH OPTIONS

FIRE HOUSE

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Affirmative. Bars on both floors
FOOD: Yep
VENUE TYPE: Small Indoor Ground Floor & Small 2nd Level Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: Great 2nd deck!
DOWNSIDES: The ground floor area is all dining with a small bar. So that won’t work for us… and we might have too many peeps to all fit on the 2nd deck.
WEBSITE: https://firehousepb.com/

PB ALE HOUSE

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Yes… both levels
FOOD: Yup!
VENUE TYPE: Indoor & Small 2nd Level Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: Huge ground floor area and within one block of Firehouse, PB Shore Club, Water Bar and Open Bar.
DOWNSIDES: The 2nd deck’s footprint is comparable with the one at Firehouse… but unlike Fire House, PBAH has group friendly tables. The caveat to that is obviously this: Unless we take over a couple of tables, we won’t stay here long.

PB SHORE CLUB

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Hell Yesssss!
FOOD: Yes. Yes they do.
VENUE TYPE: Indoor & Small 2nd Level Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: Within one block of Firehouse, PB Shore Club, Water Bar and Open Bar
WEBSITE: http://pbshoreclub.com/

WATERBAR

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Yep!
FOOD: Uh-hunh!
VENUE TYPE: 2nd Level Indoor Deck
CHARMS: PB Shore Club’s latest boardwalk next door neighbor. Has an expansive footprint and a really huge bar!
DOWNFALLS: Zip!
WEBSITE: https://www.waterbarsd.com/

OPEN BAR

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: They got ’em
FOOD: Popcorn
VENUE TYPE: Indoor & Small Outdoor Patio
CHARMS: Easy in, easy out, with a fair amount of space inside
DOWNSIDES: It’s the Open Bar

THE LOCAL

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Both
FOOD:
VENUE TYPE: Indoor, Outside Patio & 2nd Level Indoor and Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: All of the above!
DOWNSIDES: Going here probably means that we had to stop at Open Bar, out of the convenient proximity of the two venues AND it also means that we have to cross a street (TWICE)
WEBSITE: https://thelocalpb.com/

EL PREZ

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Both
FOOD:
VENUE TYPE: Indoor, Outside Patio & 2nd Level Indoor and Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: All of the above!
DOWNSIDES: Going here probably means that we had to stop at Open Bar, out of the convenient proximity of the two venues AND it also means that we have to cross a street (TWICE)
WEBSITE: https://elprezpb.com/

2ND DECK

ROOF TOP

ALCOHOL’S EARLY MORNING FORECAST…

AMPLIFIED ALE WORKS

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: SORRY, BEER ONLY… As thought that’s a problem.
FOOD: They’ve gotcha!
VENUE TYPE: Indoor Ground Floor Level and 2nd Level Indoor & Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: The external 2nd deck has a plush turf patio and some nice outdoor seating… and it’s a part of the same strip mall as El Prez.
DOWNSIDES: The second level is somewhat tight footprint for 28 people, but it might be worth a runner checking things out prior to our heading up to their level.

LA HAINA

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Stop lying… KNOW the answer already.
FOOD: They do. Seriously
VENUE TYPE: Small Indoor & Small Outdoor Deck
CHARMS: Boardwalk footprint and if we can all fit on the deck, it’d be like being a part of a box of friends!
DOWNSIDE: It might be tough for us all to find space on that patio… jus’ speaking the truth there… BUT, we could try!

DRAFT – SOUTH MISSION BEACH

BEER & HARD LIQUOR: Both
FOOD: Lotsa Food!
